Eve Arnold’s sensitivity and presence helped her subjects to expose themselves both physically and emotionally. She was able to capture intimate moments of genuine vulnerability.
“If she saw me even noticing the camera she stopped. I loved her presence around me... Her feminine presence and sensibility, both of which are present throughout her work, reassured me. On that day she felt like my guardian angel.”
- Isabella Rossellini talking about Eve Arnold photographing her for an intimate love scene in the film White Nights.

Orders FAQ
The five images in this poster collection have been digitally remastered by bespoke printer, Danny Pope. The aim was to recreate the analogue look and feel of the original dark room prints within the digital realm. This is something Danny is an expert in.
Danny formed a close relationship with Eve and got to understand the exact qualities she wanted to bring out in her prints.
Michael Arnold says: “Growing up around Eve I saw Danny’s prints all the time. For me they are synonymous with Eve’s work. I just forget sometimes that most people don’t get to see the original prints. And on a computer screen it’s just not the same. Danny’s done a beautiful job of bringing the depth, vibrancy and warmth of the original dark room print to these posters.”
