The National Portrait Gallery Moment

This summer, Eve Arnold’s Monroe photographs are part of the National Portrait Gallery exhibition Marilyn Monroe: A Portrait.
Opening on 3 June 2026, the exhibition includes Eve’s photographs of Monroe reading Ulysses, working on the set of The Misfits, resting between public appearances and caught in moments of humour, performance and quiet reflection.
The Eve Arnold prints shown in the exhibition were made by Danny Pope, Eve Arnold’s own printer and the only authorised printer of Eve Arnold Estate prints.
